Deepak Mishra

Head Standards & Quality Assurance

Deepak Mishra is an Arts graduate from Lucknow University and Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Institute of Engineering & Rural Technology, Allahabad and engaged with Skill Council for Mining Sector since September 2016.

Prior to this he was engaged with Anant Learning (P) Limited & Premiere Shield (P) Limited as Training and Compliance Manager and had an opportunity to work in all parts of India especially North Eastern states (Tripura and Sikkim).

His past stint also include working with Xerox India Limited as Customer Service Manager/ Business Partner where he was instrumental in increasing the Annual Customer Satisfaction Ratings for his region from 81% to 98% and Bharti Airtel as Regional Training Head/ National Program Manager where he pioneered launch of Airtel DTH and training a large talent pool of +2000.

Madhu Sudan Paliwal

Honorary Advisor-State of Rajasthan

Mr. Paliwal holds Diploma in Mining & Mine Surveying, AMIE in Mining Engineering from Calcutta and, MBA in Marketing from IGNOU.

He carries with him 36 years of experience in Department of Mines and Geology, Govt of Rajasthan where he handled many portfolios right from Asstt. Mining Engineer, Mining Engineer, Superintending Mining Engineer, and Additional Director (Mines). During his tenure he was involved in making state policies and rules related to mining. Currently he is rendering his services as an “Advisor” in Rajasthan State Mines and Minerals ltd., Udaipur ( Rajasthan).

Mr. Paliwal also holds Member ship of Institution of Engineers Calcutta and presently appointed as Chairman of Mining Engineers’ Association of India, Hyderabad.

Ms. Ahuti Swain

Ms. Ahuti Swain has served as Director (Personnel) on the Board of Eastern Coalfields Limited, where she played a key role in strengthening human resource management, industrial relations, and employee welfare initiatives. Prior to this, she held several senior HR leadership positions across subsidiaries of Coal India Limited, contributing significantly to organizational development and CSR functions. She brings over three decades of rich experience in personnel management within the coal and mining sector.

On the academic front, Ms. Swain holds a postgraduate qualification in Human Resource Management and has consistently demonstrated strong leadership backed by extensive domain expertise in HR and administration.

Apoorv Aishwarya

Sr. Manager Curriculum Design & Development

Apoorv Aishwarya is a Graduate in Mining Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology-Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. With + 5 years of experience in Mining Industry, and engaged with Skill Council for Mining Sector since 21st September 2020.

Prior to this, he was engaged with HZL-VEDANTA as Mining Engineer from August 2015 to September 2020, where he has gained experience in the functions of Loading & Hauling, Health & Safety, Vocational Training, Simulator Training and Data Management.

Abhishek Shukla

Sr. Manager - Industry Engagement & State Interface

Abhishek Shukla, Abhishek Shukla is a graduate in Mining Machinery Engineering from the prestigious IIT (ISM) Dhanbad. He brings over 9 years of diverse experience spanning business development, product development, and the mining industry. His core technical expertise was honed during his tenure with Hindustan Zinc Limited, where he worked extensively with a range of Heavy Earth Moving Machinery (HEMM) including Loaders, Mine Trucks, and Drills. In this role, he gained hands-on, practical experience in key maintenance practices such as scheduled, preventive, and breakdown maintenance.

Currently, he leverages this strong industrial foundation in his role at SCMS. Prior to this, he was a specialized resource for the Automotive Skills Development Council (ASDC), playing a pivotal role in developing the pilot project for the School of Specialized Excellence (SoSE) with the Delhi Government and the Boston Consulting Group. In this capacity, he contributed his expertise in the Teaching-Learning Process, Curriculum Design, Affiliations, Content Development, Proctoring, and Mentoring.

Silky Sharma

Manager Affiliations, Assessment & SID

Silky Sharma, a postgraduate in Commerce from C.C.S University, Meerut She is associated with SCMS since 7th Aug 2018 and looks after Assessment and Certification. She carries over all 8 years of experience including 6 years in the Skill Ecosystem.

Prior to this Silky was engaged with IT-ITeS SSC NASSCOM as Executive Officer from Feb 2014 to Aug 2018.

Praveen Kumar Srivastava is a B.Tech graduate in Electrical & Electronics Engineering and a Skill Development professional with over 12 years of experience in Training Operations, Project Management, Mobilization and Placement. He has worked extensively on Government and CSR-funded skill development initiatives including PMKVY, PMKK, DDUGKY, NAPS and other industry-led programs across India..

Prior to joining SCMS in June 2026 as Head – Training Operations , he was associated with LNJ Institute of Skills as Operations Manager and Mosaic Workskills Pvt. Ltd. as Centre Manager, where he was responsible for Training Operations, NAPS implementation and execution of the NCL CSR project of Coal India Limited. During his professional journey, he has successfully managed training centres, led large field teams, coordinated with government departments and industry partners, and ensured effective implementation of skill development projects..

At SCMS, he is responsible for Head training Operations, stakeholder coordination and implementation of industry-aligned skilling initiatives for the mining sector. His areas of expertise include Training Operations, Centre Management, Compliance, Mobilization, Placement and Team Leadership.

Kuldeep Singh

Deputy Manager Multimedia Designer & TOT/TOA

Kuldeep Singh holds Bachelor of Arts & diploma in Animation from Arena Animation. With over 6 years of experience on software's like Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Corel Draw, Adobe Premiere, currently he is engaged with Skill Council for Mining Sector since Aug,2017.

Prior to this, Kuldeep was engaged with Web-India as a Graphic designer from May 2016 to June,2017.

Sanjay Kumar

Manager Finance & Admin

Sanjay Kumar is a Commerce Post Graduate from IGNOU University, with + 10 years experience in Accounting Software’s like IAS, Busy, Tally etc. He is engaged with SCMS since Nov 2025.

PPrior to this, Sanjay Kumar has worked in many different sectors in last 10 years.
